Just a man called to lead the land,

a lady by your side to hold your hand.

When they said you’d won the race,

another said no, tried to take your place.

You pulled together to lead a nation,

he played ball, full of procrastination.

When Osoma Ben Lauden came along,

you stood tall, the nation stood strong.

You led the nation into war,

telling the world, we won’t take no more.

The leader of men is just a man,

the leader of a nation, “United, Under God” we stand.
